6:10 PM, Ithaca Police Investigators and the Ithaca-Tompkins Specialized Response Team served a search warrant on an apartment in the 100 block of Chestnut Street. There was a large police presence in the area and several people were detained. This search warrant was in connection to an investigation into serious violent felonies.
