One dead, one injured in shooting involving officers at Artesia Public Safety Complex

State police are investigating a homicide and a shooting involving police officers in Artesia. State police say there was a fight between two people at the Artesia Public Safety Complex on Thursday morning. During the fight one of the people involved shot and killed Mark Rommel. Rommel died at the scene.
