Tyler police investigating shooting that killed teenager Monday

On April 28, Tyler police investigated a shooting that killed one person. According to police PIO Andy Erbaugh, at about 9 p.m. on Monday, police officers responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of Pegues Ave in Tyler. When they arrived, officers found a 16-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound. He was taken by EMS to a local hospital where he died from his wounds.
