The New Bern Police Department is investigating two separate shooting incidents from Friday Night. According to a recent release, on May 23, 2025, around 11:15 p.m. New Bern Police received a ShotSpotter alert indicating gunfire near Queen Anne Lane. Officers responded to find several shell casings, but no victim at the scene.
