6400 BLOCK OF SPRINGTIME COURTBAKERSFIELD

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, at approximately 4:55 a.m., the Bakersfield Police Department responded to the 6400 block of Springtime Court regarding a 911 call of an assault. Officers arrived on scene and located two (2) victims with major and moderate injuries, as well as the suspect continuing to harm themselves. Officers used nonlethal force to take the suspect into custody and immediately attended to the victim’s and suspect’s injuries. All involved were subsequently transported to local hospitals. One of the victims later succumb to their injuries and the second victim is in stable condition. The suspect is in critical condition at a local area hospital.
