07-05-25 at about 2319, Sedro-Woolley Officers were dispatched to Memorial Park in response to a reported weapons offense. Dispatch advised responding Officers that they were receiving multiple calls reporting multiple people shot. Upon arrival, officers began to secure the area and found several injured individuals, for whom they attempted life-saving measures. The Sedro-Woolley Fire Department also arrived and provided assistance to the injured. One individual has died, and efforts are underway to notify the next of kin. Five others were injured and have been transported to local hospitals for further medical care. One suspect is in custody and has been booked into the Skagit County Jail. At this time, there is no known threat to the public. Officers and Detectives remain on the scene processing evidence, and they are expected to be there for several more hours. A significant amount of evidence has been collected, including the recovery of two firearms.
