A Delaware State Police Trooper and shooter are both dead following an altercation at the Delaware DMV office south of Wilmington Tuesday afternoon. An active shooter alert was made around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 for the facility off of Route 13 and Hessler Boulevard.
