STATE RTE C/SHUG AVEPECULIAR

On Thursday, August 20, 2026 at approximately 0833 hours, Deputies conducted a vehicle stop on State Route C, near Shug Avenue in Peculiar, Missouri on a vehicle that was associated with a person wanted in regards to a shooting in Odessa, Missouri. The suspect later fled from the vehicle stop. He was later taken into custody in the area of SW Peterson Road and SW Hook Road in Kansas City, Missouri. The suspect was transported to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office where he is pending multiple charges.
