Man charged with kidnapping and assault after driving recklessly with woman trapped in car, repeatedly punching her, and crashing into guardrail near I-95; victim escaped. ~75 threatening texts sent before attack. Vanderval Ferreira, 28, of Port Chester NY charged with first-degree kidnapping, criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault, third-degree assault, reckless endangerment; held on $500,000 bond.
